IndustryShop began in July 2025, born from decades of frustration inside the electronics manufacturing and distribution industry. Founder Adam Crow had spent his career watching capable manufacturers, distributors and resellers struggle with the same broken workflows: scattered product data, slow enquiry handoffs, opaque pricing, and tools that simply weren't built for how the industry actually trades.
Existing platforms forced industrial businesses to choose between heavyweight enterprise systems they couldn't afford and lightweight retail tools that had no concept of consortiums, technical specifications, quantity break pricing, or multi-organisation workflows. Engineers wasted hours stitching together spreadsheets, PDFs and emails just to quote a single job.
We started IndustryShop to give electronics manufacturers, distributors and their customers a single, modern platform purpose-built for the way the industry really works - rich product catalogs, transparent partnerships through consortiums, fast technical enquiries, and a mobile-first experience that travels with the engineer to the factory floor or the customer site.
